CloudManager 1.4 Released

Greetings from Xclaim!
CloudManager 1.4 is now available! This version contains the following:
• Single Hop Mesh Support (For Xi-3 , Xo-1 APs)
• Radio Tx Power control
• RADIUS Accounting
• MSP Offline notification enhancements
This version also contains other usability enhancements and bug fixes.
Please Note : To take advantage of the new features that are being introduced, please ensure that all the APs in your network are updated and running the latest firmware version (2.2.0.0.27).
Please login to http://cloud.xclaimwireless.com with your existing CloudManager account to take advantage of new features. We recommend reloading the page using "Control+Shift+R"(windows) or "Cmd+Shift+R"(osx) to ensure that the browser reloads all the elements of the page and ignores its local cache.
Also, to help you understand Single-Hop mesh concepts and configuration , we have attached a document with all the required information.
Please let us know if you see any issues. Thank you for helping us make CloudManager better.
Regards,
The Xclaim Wireless Team

Noticed the upgrade this afternoon as wifi connection dropped - for some reason one Xi3 had both 2.4 and 5Ghz channels turned off? Manual intervention has sorted it and we'll see how things go ....
Can the transmit power also beeing changed in the xI-2 and Xi-1 ?
Hello @Timvanthag ,
Yes. It is applicable to all APs.
Regards,
Vybhav
Can this also from the normal web=interface or only in the cloudmanager?
It's available only in CloudManager @Timvanthag
Working well, all cables now disconnected. Excellent.
Is there any wat to measure the transfer rate between two devices to compare to the Previous system?
Its now been a few days since the upgrade and I invoked Meshing between my two XI-3 units. Over the last few days I have noticed a flashing red light on both units - strangely it doesn't seem to affect internet access? I have rebooted both devices but it still seems to be happening at apparently random intervals. Both units are running 2.2.0.0.27. Cheers, Mike
Hello @Mikeyorkie10 ,
Flashing RED indicates the APs are losing connectivity with CloudManager. How long do the LED's blink RED?

Vybhav
Thanks for your work on this Xclaim team!
Two things:
1. Typo in the Mesh document "Upton" should be "Up to" (somewhere on page 2 or 3)
2. I didn't know of the cloud manager update. Can you send out a blast email to users? (I got one a long time ago for the firmware update but nothing for the latest couple firmware updates or couldmanager update.)
Hello @kanu978 ,
Thank you for your suggestions. We will work on them.

Vybhav
Hi Vybhav
The red light flashes for 30 to 60 seconds - I have seen it on both units since I meshed them.
Mike
Hi Vybhav, do you plain to integrate an option to disable a led on the AP with the cloudmanager..because some users want it to be disabled. And also we have one user who would like to mount them on a ship and while sailing it would be wihout internet access so the red led would constantly blink...
Keep the good work, cheers everyone.
Hello @sineltelekom ,
We currently don't have that planned . However, we will check if we can add that as a feature in an upcoming cloudmanager/AP release.

Vybhav
Thank you for your fast response, and best regards to all xclaim team...
Hi Vybhav,
Re the flashing red lights.... all seems to have settled down now. Units have been running 7 days since last reboot. Is there any way to monitor the transfer speed between the two meshed units?
Regards
Mike
Hi @Mikeyorkie10 ,
We do not have a inbuilt method the monitor the transfer speed. We will have to do a manual speed test.

Shriram
Spoke too soon on my flashing red lights. Both Xi3 now have flashing red lights, I have wifi internet access BUT I can't access then on cloud manager? I never get a connect fail message on iCloud manager just a constant trying to connect rotating symbol.
I have restarted both units and my router. Any ideas?
Mike
Hello @Mikeyorkie10 ,
We are working on this issue right now and we will be fixing this ASAP. Sorry for the incovenience caused.

Vybhav
Is it a new upgrade or not a local problem?
@Mikeyorkie10 It is not a local problem. We have identified the problem with cloudmanager and are working towards fixing it.
