Can you please share the S/N number of AP's to [email protected] ? I will take a look at it.
I sincerely apologize for the delay. We will release the fix in a weeks time.
Hello @jjm.smits ,
Thank you for your feedback. Please allow me address them.
1) Regarding access to AP locally via SSH/Web UI when the AP has been configured via CloudManager , access to the APs have been disabled in order to prevent mis configuration of APs. However, read-only access it something that we will definitely discuss and consider in our future AP releases.
2) Assigning a static IP is not possible at the moment. However, one workaround to this is to create a static MAC to IP binding in your DHCP server, so that everytime the client requests for an IP, it is always served the same from the DHCP server. Also, I will pass on your message to our engineering team and we will discuss about the possibility of supporting static IP address in future AP and CLoudManager releasees
3) We will be working on the CloudManager to AP interaction and communication to ensure that the updates and alerts prompted to the user are valid.
Our new CLoudManager, AP fix will have plenty of fixes with respect to stability and performance. Also, we have plenty of great new features that we are introducing in the upcoming CloudManager fix. We would appreciate it if you could give that a shot once it releases and let us know if you notice any improvement in your experience.
Hi @steelev3 ,
Can you please follow the steps mentioned below and let us know?
I also upgraded Xi-3 to the latest FW 188.8.131.52.43 and now my AP reports for the specific tenant show no APs. How do I get my AP reports back?
I must admit, last two weekly reports which were send one a week we're also suffering the same issue as mentioned above.
In my case 4 AP displayed of 46 which we're online.
@rameshc something going on with Cloudmanager? Also strange behavior regarding accespoint configuration (see other post) which only can be done using a "private tab". All since a little two weeks. This can't be a coincendence?
We are aware of the issue with the reports are will be addressing that in the upcoming release. Regarding the browser issue, very very few customers have reported this. Can you please confirm the browser version? Also, can we have quick webex session to understand the issue better ?
